SLHS Computer Science Club
We're the Seven Lakes High School Computer Science Club. Our goal is to provide a place for students interested in computer science to connect, develop their skills, and serve their school. We host weekly presentations, delivered by our own members, and mutliple events throughout the year from practice sessions to socials. Our members can explore their interests in different areas of computer science, compete in local and national contests, and distingush themselves by joining the national CS Honor Society.
We meet every Monday at 2:45 P.M. in Room 1001.

Contests
Pizza. Candy. Code. We attend several local computer science contests throughout the year hosted by neighboring schools. Teams of 3 program on one computer to complete a packet of programming problems (while eating pizza and candy, of course). They're a fun way to spend a Saturday and improve your problem solving skills. Our other contests include USACO, HP Code Wars, and UIL CS, where we frequently advance to state.
We hold competitive programming practice every week.
We host a national contest. Every year our annual October contest is hosted online and in-person with over 350 people in attendance. The contest is produced entirely by the CS Club and every year we require problem writers, testers, judges, and other volunteers to help put the event together.
